AI in your Rails app
You have a product people already use. Let’s figure out where AI would help, build a small working version, and see how it behaves with real inputs.

Open to interesting work
I’m Vipul. I run Saeloun and contribute to Rails. Right now, I’m looking to work with people building at the intersection of AI and software.
Tell me what you’re building The first 10 hours are on me.
What I’m interested in
It doesn’t need to fit neatly into one of these. If you’re working on something interesting and think I could help, I’d like to hear about it.

AI changes more than how you write code. I’m interested in working through what it means for your team: planning, implementation, review, and shipping.

Have an idea, an early prototype, or something that’s stuck? We can work on the product and the code together, starting with one useful thing it should do well.

A place to start
Working together. Hands on.
For projects that are a good fit, the first 10 hours of my time are free.
We’ll agree on one problem and what we can reasonably tackle before we start. That could be a prototype, a change in your Rails app, or working through how your team uses AI.
If we want to keep going, we’ll agree on a paid scope first. There’s no obligation to continue.
Let’s talk about your projectEmail me a little about what you’re building and where you’re stuck.
A little about me
I’m the founder of Saeloun, where we work with teams on their Ruby on Rails applications. My work spans writing code, helping teams make engineering decisions, and contributing to open source.
I’m interested in what AI lets us build, and what we need to change about the way we build software. I’d rather explore that by working on a real problem with you.
